Abstract
What awaits us beyond history and the world is not a question that is exclusively asked in areas of belief. The "newest", although they have been wrapped in alternative terminologies to the traditional one, are at the end of the street. Theology should not only take note of where the "last generation" eschatology is heading, but it should also review its own eschatological discourse. Antonio Jiménez provides an introduction to the main eschatological events, getting rid of the linguistic inertias that can water them down and recovering their most genuine meaning for them.
