The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
The Revista de Fomento Social accepts original articles and notes in Spanish, English and French that have not been published.
Manuscripts must be between 6,000 and 9,000 words in length.
Authors should send a file in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format, with no information about the author or his/her institutional affiliation.
The text should be single spaced; 12 point font size; italics should be used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures and tables should be placed in the appropriate places in the text, instead of at the end.
The following organization of the text is recommended:
1. HEADING. Consisting of:
Title: Clear, short and concise in Spanish and English. It is recommended not to exceed 60 characters including spaces.
2. ABSTRACT: It should be sufficiently informative to allow the reader to identify the content and interest of the work and to be able to decide on its reading. It should not exceed 150 words. It should be presented in Spanish and English.
3. KEY WORDS. Maximum of seven, suggested by the author; they may be modified or supplemented by the editorial board. They should be presented in both languages, Spanish and English.
4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS. If acknowledgements are included, they should be included as the first footnote.
5. BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES. At the end of the paper. References should be arranged in alphabetical order of the author, or first author if there are several authors. For different works by the same author or authors, the chronological order will be taken into account according to the year of publication. If in the same year there is more than one paper by the same author or authors, a letter should be added after the year to identify the reference (for example, 2006a; 2006b).
The criterion for presentation of references will be APA 7th edition. https://normas-apa.org/citas/
NOTES. Bibliographical references should be made citing the initial of the author's name and surname (in small caps), the year (in parentheses) and, if applicable, the reference pages.
TABLES AND FIGURES. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and independently, with a brief title and indicating their sources. Figures should be presented in a form suitable for direct reproduction.
ABBREVIATIONS. The use of abbreviations saves space, but the article loses readability if it is excessive. When it is necessary to use them, they should be defined when citing them for the first time.
EVALUATION. The Revista de Fomento Social will acknowledge receipt of papers submitted to it. The papers received will be submitted anonymously to at least two external evaluation processes. Taking into account the reports issued by the evaluators, the editorial board of the Journal will decide on the acceptance of the papers.
To ensure anonymity, the first page should be independent of the rest of the article. The other pages should not contain the name, address or other information that would allow or facilitate the identity of the author(s) to be known. Authors are requested to maintain anonymity when writing the article, and not to make references to themselves or to their own publications that would allow their identification.
RFS will acknowledge receipt of all originals within a short period of time, never more than 15 days.
The works are sent disinterestedly by their authors. Revista de Fomento Social does not remunerate in any way for them.
