A new humanistic synthesis for a fair and just economic and social order

Abstract
This note is the revised text of an oral communication presented at the round table on the financial system, business ethics and social thought (within the session “ Financialization of the economy, a crisis of ethics and social emergencies “) at the XIII Congress Sainz de Andino Association “The duty and the right to protection of consumers in times of crisis”, held in Cordoba on June 28, 2013 . This text is part of a research project on consumer protection, competition rules and corporate culture and tries to lay the foundation –a foundation and a horizon– contemplating ethical regeneration and political commitment in a fair economic and social order, an economy to serve the common good.
