Main Article Content
Abstract
This text discusses issues affecting equality and globalization which have introduced new dimensions into international trade, while current governance devices are still but weak. The author examines how we can move towards a more perfect stage of governance and refers to the tradeoff between openness and regulation as complementary approaches to development. Finally the article addresses the issue of governance in relation to the effects of globalization, especially the “revolution” in the “transport” of information and goods in questions of global trade regulations.
