Abstract

Jesuit educational tradition gives special importance to teaching students moral values. This teaching is not only an emotional and volitive matter, but also intellectual. However, many scientific theories that must be taught in university careers offered by our universities present a vision of persons and society where the moral dimension is denied or relegated to irrelevance. We discuss this contradiction and propose ideas to overcome it in educational practice.
