Regional financing: a revision from the transitional period to 2002

Abstract
In this paper a revision of the regional financing system from the transitional period to 2002 is carried out in order to identify those aspects that have been under the conditions of politic negotiations, and suffering sometimes financial repercussions difficult to explain from an economic and financial point of view. The model approved in July 2001 is dealt with in more detail due to its importance. An assessment of the regional experience figures in conclusions as well as some implications for the future.
