Abstract

Theological reflection today is strongly marked by a complex “change of era, marked by contradictions” and European theology is not immune to this change. The challenges facing theology depend mainly on the always new and current reading of the Signs of the Times. From these signs, Karl Rahner, already in 1966, predicted with respect to the Christian and the theologian of the future that he "will be a "mystic", that is, a person who has experienced something, or he will not be a Christian." The peculiar thing about this mystical experience is that we are called to do it in community. What is it about?
