Opening the Scriptures. Keys to the pastoral use of the Bible
Main Article Content
Abstract
After the stimulus given by the Second Vatican Council, the Bible has become an essential feature of any evangelizing activity. However, the formation of pastoral agents does not always enable them to situate themselves comfortably in front of a biblical text. This difficulty is not resolved only through theoretical knowledge. Because evangelization is not a mere transmission of intellectual content, using the Scriptures requires personal implication and a connection with experience. From this perspective, this paper attempts to provide some clues that help to adequately address the use of the Bible in a pastoral context.
