Countless murders or one primordial crime? The homicidal night of time in Freud and Girard
Main Article Content
Abstract
The primordial murder and the death of the father by the primal horde is a main psychoanalytical key. This is fundamental in Freudian philosophy of culture too. The details of this hypothesis; the difference with the scapegoat mechanism by Girard and the problematic character of this Freudian theory, are the most important aspects in this work. Beyond the differences between these authors, they underline the deadly and violent origins of humanity, cultures and societies.
