Strategy and vacuum in the new left

Abstract
This article has two main goals. On one hand, it presents the new left sources, (1) the concept of hegemony in A. Gramsci´s understanding about marxist theories and its influence in the new left strategies to get social and political power, (2) the absence of any absolute principle ( a "non-refillable" emptiness) as metaphysical base of the new left political action. On the other hand, current article tries to give some information about main theorical tendencies to perform an emancipated democracy from its liberal tradition by the new left and its challengies.
