Abstract
The Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy declared by Pope Francis is a prime opportunity to delve into the Biblical images of mercy and to discover the practical consequences of this divine feature for our lives as followers of Christ. This article proposes to do just that. The incitement to be motherly, reconciled and extraordinarily normal follows from our baptismal relationship with a merciful God.
