Abstract

The yearning for immortality is a dimension of the tragicism of Miguel de Unamuno. This anthropological longing tends to be channeled by our author in different ways, until reaching his philosophical maturity. The present article intends to show the genesis of the yearning for immortality, as well as the first explorations carried out by our author in this field, previous to his work Of the tragic feeling of life.
