The Work "Mary in the patristics of the 1st and 2nd centuries" of Father José Antonio de Aldama sj
Main Article Content
Abstract
Fr. José Antonio de Aldama was professor at the Faculty of Theology of Granada (Spain), during a large part of the 20th Century, and one of the most influential mariologists of his time. He himself thought that his most meaningful contribution, in the field of theology, had been the reflection about Mary in the patristic literature of the 1st and 2nd century. Fr. Pozo offers us in this article an analysis of Fr. Aldama´s theology, while showing why, in fact, it is reasonable to consider that his contribution is worth being taken into consideration and be valued.
