Abstract

In the first part, this article explains the points of special interest within the debate between the Bible and the natural Sciences: The Heliocentric system, the physical laws and the miracles, evolutionism and the age of the universe, focusing with greater thoroughness the first one, since both parts in conflict brought up arguments from the Scripture, a thing that did not happened in the other questions from the side of the scientists. In the second part, it explains four attitudes before the conflict: The Bible prevails upon the sciences; the Bible prevails upon the sciences while the contrary may not be proved; there is no conflict between the Bible and the Sciences; Science prevails upon the Bible in scientific issues.
