Witnesses to the Faith and Teachers of the Early Church The Church Fathers
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Holy Fathers are much more than the classics of the Christian culture. Only the direct reading of their works can introduce us to their way of thinking, make us understand their spirit, and grasp as well their faith, which is our faith. Their importance for the theology of any epoch, allows us to connect their teachings with the exegetic work, the dogmatic reflection, the liturgical celebration, and even with ecumenism. The publication of this article of the late Fr. Carmelo Granado, serves us as a grateful homage and remembrance for his collaboration and high esteem towards this review during so many years.
