Jesus and wealth

Abstract
This is the text of a conference dictated in Madrid, on November 2011. After remembering some data on Jesus’ way of living and his socio-economic context, some ideas of the Old Testament on wealth are reminded, which could have exerted an influence on his thought; finally, the message, as transmitted by the Synoptic, Marc, Matthew and Luke, is explained.
