The Simpsons and the Bible II. Possible pastoral use
Main Article Content
Abstract
The review Proyección published on its 243 issue an article entitled The Simpson and the Bible, in which I analyzed the presence of the Bible and offered a kind of “data bank” about the biblical references present in the series. The actual article goes one step forward and evaluates, in the first place, the way the series deals with revelation and its contents. But, besides, following the indications of The Gentiles’ Court of Benedict XVI, it endeavors to carry out a reflection on the pastoral use of the series, in order to draw to the Bible young people and children, who are the main consumers of the series.
