Abstract
Rather sooner than later, the issue of mercy killing will be discussed in Spanish society. Many accept that euthanasia is a right of every citizen. Better die with dignity than live regrettably. Others believe that it never should be permitted. Is there anything an exclusively ethical perspective could teach us, and how is it to be evaluated from a religious point of view?
