Prophecy in the time of restoration
Main Article Content
Abstract
The brief period that goes from 538 BC, the date of the liberation edict of Cyrus – king of Persia – to 515 BC, when the construction of the second temple is completed, is known as the era of restoration. Professor J. L. Sicre points out in this work the interest aroused by the activity of the prophets of this time: Haggai, Zechariah and Tritus Isaiah, who, developing their mission in the same geographical space - Jerusalem - and time - the 22 years of the restoration – present different messages and theologies.
