The First images of God in children
Main Article Content
Abstract
Fernando Martel has a degree in Religious Sciences and a religion teacher. For years he has been working with children and looking for appropriate languages for the transmission of faith and religious education. In this article he introduces us to the problems posed by the “mysterious world of children” through which parents, catechists and teachers try to instill religious experience. Recognizing the intellectual evolutionary process and adapting the methods to the children's abilities is essential for an adequate and positive experience of the encounter between the child and God. But it is also necessary for the adult to recognize in himself the need to review his own concepts and images of God so as not to become an impediment.
