Abstract

The Word that God communicates to people comes to us through the channel of human language; this authentically human character of Holy Scripture alone reveals God's profound secret. God loves people. Speaking in their language, God communicates with them, makes himself understood by them, and at the same time restores to human language its truth. The author traces the manifestation of this word in the literature of the Old and New Testament and reveals that it manifests itself, firstly, as the bearer of life, but also as a word that is heard in privileged spaces such as creation, the desert, the law and women.
