Abstract

Believers have always been concerned about meeting God beyond the sacred space of the temple or the liturgy. There can be no rupture between everyday life and the relationship with God, but how can we articulate spaces where this threat of rupture does not become a reality? Professor Trinidad León explores and reflects on everyday life as an area of encounter with God. Through a phenomenology of everyday experience, she offers us some keys to a desired but unmanipulable encounter, which requires a deepening of the most authentic reality of oneself, in order to make possible the experience of the deepest significance of reality. This is where God becomes close and intuitively comprehensible.
