Abstract

Going to a psychologist is something that is frequently used in our society to confront some problems in our personal lives that we could not treat alone. But what lies beneath the "need" to go to a psychologist? And what is more important: What types of relationships are established between the Psychology professional and the patient? What possible deceptions are hidden in that relationship? How to get out of them? The author of this article, a regular contributor to our magazine and professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Theology of Granada, masterfully explains the answer to these questions, which we have surely all asked ourselves at some point.
