Bioethical aspects of Alzheimer's disease
Main Article Content
Abstract
Alzheimer's disease is becoming a phenomenon that characterises our western welfare society. This disease raises a series of care, social, ethical and political problems: from the quality of health care to the question of the distribution of resources, from the attitude of care to the question of euthanasia. The author of this article, professor of Moral Theology at the Faculty of Theology at the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid and an expert in bioethical issues, gives us an overview of all the problems and questions related to Alzheimer's disease in this excellent study.
