Abstract

The author of this study is a professor at the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Minas of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. But he is also a connoisseur of Christian Scripture and the sacred texts of other religious traditions. In this interesting article he presents an approach to the phenomenology of religious experience and its expression from the perspective of Geology, specifically from the mixed discipline called "Geomythology": the role of geological phenomena and the morphology of the earth's surface in how the experience of the sacred is expressed and formulated. It is certainly a new and original vision of a field already known to our regular readers.
