Abstract
This text presents the words of Fr. General Arturo Sosa during his 2019 visit to the former Faculty of Theology of Granada, now part of Loyola University. He thanked the staff and students for their dedication to a valuable yet often unrecognized mission. He acknowledged current challenges for theology in Europe, such as secularization and declining vocations, and encouraged creative responses. He emphasized the shared mission among Jesuits, religious, and laypeople, the value of collaboration, and the central role of students. He urged them to continue with hope and spiritual depth in their service to the Church.
