La piedad popular cristiana en la Antigüedad: formas, contextos y experiencias pastorales

Abstract
In the following article, we will focus on forms, texts, and pastoral experiences in which, in one way or another, it has become clear that the early Christians expressed an affective and deeply symbolic relationship with the object of their faith, God, who revealed himself in his Son through the Holy Spirit, manifested his plans in Mary of Nazareth, and left the imprint of his holiness also in the martyrs and saints. This will be a descriptive and synthetic presentation that will attempt to revisit familiar forms of ancient Christian popular piety and provide new stimuli by approaching other less well-known forms. In any case, efforts will be made to highlight the roots that nourish the sap of popular Catholic piety, which still today gives vitality to the believing soul of the People of God.
