Spoils and hopes. Spoils and hopes. The journey of the Christian experience
Main Article Content
Abstract
Faith, like any living organism, necessarily undergoes processes of change and modification in step with the existential vicissitudes of each individual. Faith comes to each of us through the word, that is, through certain interpersonal, historical, and sociocultural conditioning. Its maturation, then, goes through a process that necessarily involves, on the one hand, the stripping away of all those mediations that cloud the most intimate and radical core of the experience and, at the same time, an openness to the mystery of God as a mystery of goodness. A double tension, that which points to the utopia of the Kingdom (knowing how to avoid the trap of the illusory) and that which opens us to otherness (in overcoming the permanent egocentric tendency), are its two fundamental references.
