Abstract

From the perspective of patristic theology, in order to deepen our understanding of the Holy Spirit, the author analyzes, in the first part, the various clauses of the third article of the Creed of the Council of Constantinople (381) on the Spirit. In the second part, he studies the relationship between the Spirit and Jesus, considering three particular moments: the incarnation of the Word, the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan, and the communication of the Spirit by the risen Jesus.
