When He Is at the Center Teresa of the Child Jesus
Main Article Content
Abstract
It won’t be long before the hundredth anniversary of Teresa’s death. The fact that her unique spiritual path has come to be known as “spiritual childhood” hasn’t exactly helped her gain the respect of the “serious” figures in the world of spirituality. When one delves deeply into her biography, one is surprised by the life she had to live. She has been portrayed in such a gentle light that it is strange to discover that things were not all rosy for her. The author offers a brief sketch of her robust spirituality.
