Abstract
It is not a question of dwelling on the many ecological crimes being committed today, but of considering how we might achieve a sustainable society that is truly a home for everyone. The three fundamental demands of ecology—a more respectful attitude towards nature; fairer and more fraternal communication between nations and generations; and a more ascetic way of life—are also authentic Christian values.
