Cultural Heritage and Evangelization
Main Article Content
Abstract
Our society as a whole is characterized by its lack of faith and indifference toward religion, yet at the same time it shows a renewed enthusiasm and interest in discovering all the religious works of art and documentary works that make up the Church’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. This article first outlines and briefly summarizes the various elements and complexes that form part of the cultural heritage and the service it has rendered to the faith of God’s people throughout different historical periods, and then presents it as an effective means for the evangelization of people and contemporary society, which often find in it their sole reference to the Christian message.
