The founding experience of faith as a priority task of formation

Abstract
Although the article focuses on formation for the priestly and religious life, it is a valid basic approach for anyone in the Church who works in the field of youth and young adult ministry, and in this sense it is useful reading. Starting from the fundamental characteristics of the young generation, it asks how to help them to grow in the Christian faith, how to help them to shape a life based on following Jesus. And it places the cornerstone in something common to all baptised people: the experience of faith as a foundational experience and the cementing of one's own life.
