Faith and science. Theology and school setting. A faith to walk around the classroom
Main Article Content
Abstract
Reason and faith help reveal the same truth of the human being from two different places, both must complement and respect each other. The arguments that we find to strengthen the meeting between faith and science are numerous and consistent. Hence it is plausible to place theology and the teaching of religion in the school setting. The Magisterium of the Church and numerous arguments of various kinds, legal, social, cultural, scholarly, ecclesial, support it. According to current legislation, the curriculum of the area of religion also contributes to this meeting, and this prompts a renewal and updating of pedagogical proposals that stimulate today's young people and offer them a fruitful theological reflection and of transcendental meaning in the academic field: a faith to walk around the classroom.
