The The Hands of God Reading patristic texts
Main Article Content
Abstract
“God´s hands,” in the whole of the Patristic literature, is a beautiful metaphor to express the Trinitarian character of the creation, and especially, of the creation of the human being. Those hands of God make reference to the Word and to the Spirit, both of whom in the instance of the formation of man and woman, set out to work together, showing so the unparalleled dignity of the human being vis-à-vis the rest of creatures. The author of this article, Carmelo Granado, offers us a journey through the symbolic richness of our Patristic tradition.
